Protein powder is almost a must, but muscle-building powder is not.

Many people ask this question, first a clear concept: muscle powder = protein powder + fast carbohydrate.

The first thing to understand is that in everyday life, fast carbs are extremely cheap! Rice, steamed bread, bread, noodles, glucose... are too cheap! But it is much more expensive to supplement the carbonated water by increasing the muscle powder. The carbonated water in the muscle powder has to be sold at a high price.

So I offer two options:

1) the frugal version: Buy protein powder only and prepare your own carbs. For example, I drink 30g glucose + 50g protein powder after training. Glucose can also be replaced with maltodextrin, white bread, white steamed bread and so on. Do not recommend bananas, bananas do not count fast-rising sugar sources, GI value is only about half of the above food.

2) the easy version: Buy only muscle powder. For example, if a brand of muscle powder, carbohydrate rate 44% , protein rate 33% , if you drink 100 grams of muscle powder, which contains 44 grams of carbon water and 33 grams of protein, this ratio is good.

Should I eat muscle powder or protein powder? If you want to save money, you buy protein powder, carbohydrate; if you don’t have money, you buy muscle-building powder (but the protein ratio should be as high as possible) , you don’t have to bring your own carbohydrate.

You See? Protein powder is almost a must, but muscle-building powder is not. At present, the landlord is using “Glucose + protein powder”program. Of course, glucose can also be used as a substitute for all of the quick carbs mentioned above, which can be eaten immediately after a workout at the gym.
